"Haha, At least its over. "

For you!

I didn’t get any email though I checked yesterday and saw that I got “prov admit” to animal science. Since I’m studying at an international school, I guess they want to see my final transcript before making a final decision on whether they want to accept me or not. At least I know the decision for Pomona now (:

I applied for the Architecture program and still no word yet :[ It just says Impacted Plan- CSU Eligible.

My SAT was
Math: 510
Reading: 600
Writing: 620

My SATs weren’t too good, but at least my GPA is a 3.8.
I’m also taking a lot of AP classes.
What do you guys think, do I have any chance at all?? Maybe I shouldn’t have applied to an impacted major

I applied biotechnology major. My application status is also Impacted Plan- CSU Eligible.

Good luck! For my major, it says that students usually have a minimum CSU eligibility index of 4100. Mine’s just at 4142. Hopefully that’s good enough! At least I met the mark

Son got his email of acceptance a day or so ago. Today he says… “did I tell you?..”

1890 with a 3.2. Wonder if it was the supplemental…

What major did he apply to?

Electrical engineering.

Okay. Well good job for him! I’m sooo scared I’m not going to get in :[

@shrinkwrap,

what was his reading/math score without the writing? A score over 1250 would have compensated for his below average GPA (no offense :).

Again, I wonder about the role of that supplement for kids applying to engineering. He was able to add his first semester senior year grades, although I don’t know if they actually looked at our counted them. The source of my sons low GPA was largely influenced by the first semester of sophomore year, which as we know, without senior grades, accounts for 25 percent of the GPA. He did WAY better after that semester, with 4.0’s the last two semesters, but it was a long road recovering in terms of the cumulative GPA.

I went to orientation last friday and my status still says provisional admit. I asked one of the advisors about this and she said that its because the site just hasn’t been updated due to the lack of employees but if you’re called to attend orientation that means you have been admitted. So guys please don’t stress too much about the status. Just be patient =)

What does it mean to be “Eligible for Consideration”?
Help?

“Eligible for consideration” means that you meet the minimum requirements for admission. You are looking for “provisional admit”, meaning you have gained admission for good.

For all you folks who are wondering what the meaning of your status is, please check out this Cal Poly Pomona Bronco Direct Application Status help page:

[Application Status Help < eHelp < Cal Poly Pomona](http://www.csupomona.edu/~ehelp/broncodirect/applicationstatus.html#ImpactedPlanCSUEligible)

yes i got in!!!

GPA: 3.2
ACT: 29

i think the supplementals helped alot…

and for the terms and condtion, do we have to maintain our current GPA? like for me do i have to maintain a 3.2? cuz i currently do not have a 3.2… lol

or…

can we just maintain at least all C’s?

any help would be nice, thanks

You just have to maintain all C’s in A-G courses.

Good job getting in!!! I’m STILL waiting :[ :[ What major did you apply to?

What do you think my chances are for getting accepted to CPP or CalState Fullerton.
Right now i got the Eligible for consideration mumbo-jumbo.
Extremely panicked.

2.9 gpa, but pulled my grades up alot
My official transcript says 3.2 gpa cumulative
1490/2400 SAT

for all those that keep listing their SAT scores out of 2400 you’ll probably not get in since you can’t do the most basic research which would tell you that CSUs only count the math and reading sections worth only 1600. If you have already applied, you should know this. If not, I don’t know where you’ve been.

My mistake.
I got a 1020/1600.
