Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

Good luck everyone, I’m still on the “Application Received” status.

Though this may not affect us, it’s definitely affecting the future:

Congrats visom1, glad to hear you got in! I hope everyone else hears good news soon. :)

I may have a 2.8 but I’m on an upward trend… had a 2.2 my 1st year at CC, 2nd and 3rd year my GPA was over 3.0… maybe that’s why I got it?

Thanks everyone! I’ll let you guys know if anything else comes up.

Hi everyone, congrats to those who got accepted!
My application status is still on “Referred to Impacted Plan”, I’m so worried right now.
& also I’m wondering what’s the difference between my status & “Impacted Plan CSU Eligible”? Which one is more hopeful?
major: electricla engr.
GPA: 3.41
Thanks

Oh, im on the downward, had better stats the previous year

Sent from my SPH-D700 using CC

I hope they take the upward trend thing into account. My trend went like this: 3.58, 2.89, 2.75, 2.81, 2.88, 2.93, 3.0.

If you wanna get an idea of your chances, use this website

@Caldud, lots of schools take upward trend into account and really look at it positively since it shows you’re always improving, if you’re on an upward trend then keep your head up and dont lose hope

my status still reads application “ready for review”

mine is still at “Application Received” for Business Admin; my application date is 11/16/2011

My two physics labmates got into CPP with 3.6 each for Comp Sci last night. Went from “Application Received” to “Provisional Admit”.

Good luck everyone.

Does anyone know why I have a “positive service indicators” in my testing area of Bronco Direct? There seems to be a lot of activity and changes happening on my Bronco Direct account.

Where does it say that in the testing area? I would imagine that’s a good sign :)

CPP said to me "We strongly recommend that you submit your $100 Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) online through BroncoDirect

as early as possible, but no later than the May 1, 2012 deadline. "

that’s not really much time for some people to decide whether they want to go or not

Yes I heard back in January!!

Yes, in the testing area. I hope it’s a good sign. It also says EPT status:required in the testing area but I havn’t been admitted?

My status is “Referred to Impacted Plan”. At the bottom it says “This application is not complete”, and the outstanding item is "Final Transcript Spring Grades due 07/15/2012. It’s also in my “to do” list.

My questions are…Why are they requesting my final transcript if I am not accepted yet? Does everyone have that on their “to do” list?

Thanks

@ LoroiKaren, The reason they are asking for your final transcripts for the spring 2012 semester is because most likely you haven’t completed one or more of the 4 golden courses needed to transfer; for example, speech, english, critical thinking, or math. If you havent completed one of those then you wouldnt be CSU eligible. They want to make sure that you have taken one course from those categories

@ Olivarez831, ohh ok. Thank you, that really helps. I doing speech now!!

The anticipation is haunting me! It’s basically a 50/50 chance for me (Computer Science), and I really want to go to this school.

So since a supplement application is required by the engineering departments, is it ironic that I have never been contacted about it? My applied major is computer engineering. Freshman, still on “application received” since November.
