@ WillZ916 Why is it 50/50 chance for you? If you don’t mind me asking, whats your gpa?

i have a 3.6gpa w/ a 24act score and i applied as a business major, still havent heard back :(

Did anyone get the email about the ELM and EPT testing from admissions today?

yah everyone got it wether ur in or not hah i thought t was acceptance

i didnt get that email :o

hagz123 did you score very highly on your SAT? If so that’s probably why which is a good thing :)

Also does anyone know if they have sent any rejections out yet?

yah they have sent rejections

I just looked at this http://www.csupomona.edu/~irar/stats...all%202011.pdf and since I’m a kinesiology major, I don’t like my chances. I am a transfer with a 3.42gpa. I’m getting depressed now. :(

What’s the email that you guys are talking about? I didn’t get anything.

Do you guys think there are anymore acceptances?

If you read this thread 2 years back, some people didn’t get accepted until late june and early july. Some even got accepted after initially getting rejected months before. Really hoping we don’t have to wait that long to know where we will be in the next few years.

Misanmr2 it was an email for the assessment tests. You only have to take them if you aren’t exempt. They sent them to people who haven’t been given an admission decision yet. Also the link you posted isn’t working?

Softballkc I’m not sure but I think so. They said the admission decisions for FTF are till April 15th and you would think we would be seeing people post about more rejections if they are totally done with acceptances? I’m not sure if that’s true but wishful thinking. I’m hoping so bad to get in it hurts lol

Theres still no change on my portal, I really hope I get in too, its not my “dream school” but my stats arent good enought for them sadly

Same here softball. What are your stats if you don’t mind me asking and what major?
Let’s keep out fingers crossed! There’s still hope! :)

It was the same link that visom1 posted up. http://www.csupomona.edu/~irar/stats/students/admissions/docs/Application%20Counts%20by%20Major_Fall%202011.pdf

At least they should send me the rejection letter already to put me out of my misery. I don’t like this at all.

I’m not sure if you guys have seen this page but Ithink it’s helpful. It is the 2011 statistics on students in each department’s like average GPA and SAT

http://www.csupomona.edu/~irar/facts/docs/Just_the_Facts_F11.pdf

I have yet to receive a single email since getting the confirmation one for submitting my app. I didn’t apply to an impacted major, though I did submit near the end of November.

“Application Received” is still up on my bronco direct as we speak. And I have gotten no emails about the assessment tests whatsoever I wish they’d just reject me already, losing hope. This is the only school out of 4 I applied to that I’m waiting on, and it’s my top choice. Still I need to alert the other schools about admission sooner rather than later, or housing will be an issue. Get it together Pomona!

Also a transfer student.

If we didnt get in now is there high chance of getting rejected?? im undergrad freshman applyingg

My daughter got a provisional acceptance to CPP on 2/17.

She is a first year freshman Biology major with GPA of 3.30.
SAT Verbal/Critical reading: 570, Math: 560, Writing: 540
ACT English: 26, Math: 25, Reading: 27, Science: 25, Writing: 24, Composite: 26

She hasn’t seen the campus yet but I’m going to put the housing deposit down just in case. We are still hoping to be able to pay tuition & room/board at a private but it all depends on the financial aid packages.

On a side note she did not get into Cal Poly SLO. The rejection letter was the nicest letter I have ever seen. She got that last week. Not sure if her acceptance to CPP influenced her admission to SLO. I know they are all heavily impacted and have tons and tons of applicants.

Good luck everyone!
