Anyone heard from Cal Poly Pomona yet?

I applied Nov 7, as a business major. Still “Application recieved”.

Once you get accepted, there is a good facebook group for Cal Poly Pomona transfer students for Fall 2012. Hang in there everyone!

^ Here’s the link to the transfer group! When you get your acceptance, come join in the fun! [CPP Fall 2012 Transfers](http://www.facebook.com/groups/177819095671385/</a>)

thanksss!! dont worry x14sta ull get in be patient only couple days leftt :)

I do hope so. For sure, 3.1 gpa & 1050/1600 sat. :/. I got rejected into everything else so far.

whats ur major?

I applied for computer engineering and comp science. I’m a bit below average. But only because of some immature situation I pulled off where I earned myself 2f’s(which I made up) and that teacher wants me banished. >_<.

damnnn thats crazy … did they ask you for supplement?

For any architecture majors…I went on a campus tour today and my tour guide( an architecture student) said the only accept 100 out of the 4000 applicants they receive every year. He also said that all architects are guaranteed the classes they need and will have no trouble registering for classes. He said most of his architecture classes have under 20 people and he receives a lot of one on one time with his professors. I talked to another architecture student and he told me he has to pay an extra $2000 a year in materials for the projects the architecture students have to build. Just thought I would put this info out there. If anyone has questions about the school who hasn’t visited I might be able to help, after receiving a lot of info today.

@irvine not yet. I got nothing as of earlier.

Do they send updates overnight or…?

@x14sta I think you have a solid chance at being accepted…I was told that computer and electrical engineering are the least impacted engineering majors.

@cppcivileng2016 I heard about that throughout the threads. I am hoping to keep my head up. It’s still a challenge but not as much as architectures.

Ya keep your head up man. What wad your second choice of major?

Comp eng then comp science. I wished I chose bus. Administration instead. But I’m keeping myself hopeful. I wished admission was done via interviews. :)
