I found thread similar to this but it's from a couple of years ago. I got an offer to live in Casa Zimbabwe next year, but some of the people I know tell me it is dirty filled with rats, dangerous ,and that people there do hard drugs all the time. I am very open-minded, and don't mind people partying, and having fun. But could anyone please tell me what cz is really like? I have not visited yet, but will soon.I know that by visiting I will learn more about the house, but I still think there are things I am going to miss. I currently live in the dorms, and can't wait to move out. thanks!

Take a stroll over there and ask if someone there will give you a tour.

i have a friend who lives in cz. can attest to the hard drugs. but they’re really like family out there. its not ‘filled with rats’ but its as disheveled and messy as you’d expect it to be.

go to your tour prepared with a list of Q’s you want answered (namely the deal-breaker Q’s)

rats–> nope
dirty–> varies throughout semester but it’s not too bad most of the time. plus you get used to it
dangerous–> haha no

pretty much everyone here smoke weed and drink
i only know very few people who do hard drugs (we have like 1 in-house rave every semester but not everyone takes it. around half the people just choose to drink instead)

if you like partying you’ll like it

Lol I went to one party there and it was like coke everywhere but that could have been an exclusive incident. If you’re pretty chill/low maintenance/don’t mind weed, then I’d live there!

alright! thanks I am gonna go visit soon, and if I like it give it a try. Like I said I am very open minded and don’t mind what people do. The only thing I was concerned was hard drugs because I am not into that, and since people have been talking a lot about the cloyne incident and the lawsuit I thought I would ask.
