I know it's like 3 months from now but is there a particular day to look forward to?

This past year it was April 29th or 30th I believe. It will probably be the same story.

as per http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/fallapp.asp - march 30, 2006 (or thereabouts).

Last year was March 31st, I think mine showed up around 3:00 PM.

if you are invited for an interview for a Chancellor's/Regent's scholarship in Feb, it means you are IN!

March 31st last year.

I forgot state that the aforementioned dates were for transfer students :)

UC website says letters come between March 1-30.

They do say that. They also wait to send them until the 30th, the last possible day they mention. Expect to find out then.

Aw man, so we have to wait until the last possible day to find out about Berkeley? They don't post the online decisions any earlier? That's going to be killer when it comes to March! I remember my friend last year found out about her admission to UCLA on March 12. Out of curiosity...why does Cal take so long to let people know about their decision?

Because they can, uh. :P

UC, the University of California, says it comes out between March 1-30, but each individual University of California has different times.

Traditionally, UC Berkeley has been the last to send decisions.

If I remember correctly:

UCR: Early March
UCLA and UCSD: "Mid-March"
UC Berkeley: last day

UCSB, UCSC, UCI falls between "early" and "mid"...I'm not sure about Davis or Merced.

That's convenient. Good thing I don't care too much about Berkeley.

I should add that the information was based on the last two years, give or take a few days.

And Berkeley holds out last because it's the first UC, flagship institution, and all that other stuff.

That's great, Gospy. Thanks for sharing.
