Anyone OOS get a letter today?

An acceptance arrived in NJ !!!

for my daughter in Maryland!

Nothing in Chicago. Getting a bad feeling about this...

Has anybody gotten a rejection letter today? Or only acceptances?

nothing yet in Maryland.........mailman was just here...........likely that means rejections were mailed a day later than acceptances??? anyone can confirm this???

I really hope that they didn't do that. Can anyone confirm this?

dont worry, W&M mail is odd. my friend found out a week after my sister found out. both accepted. it doesnt mean anything. everyone breathe =)

so there is no order or reason for who gets letters when?
nothing in TN for me. friend in ga got nothing.

this drives me crazy. you know, it is good to be positive but i think i will feel better tomorrow if i assume i was rejected that way if so i am prepared and if not, wow what a weekend.

oh, good, that makes me feel better, haha, cause i live in nj and no letter yet...:-(

I got in today. Ohio.

It would be nice to think you are correct. However, every single person on this thread and the next who got theirs today was accepted. Not one person was rejected so far as I have read. And this included both near and far states. Therefore, the only logical inference is that acceptances were sent out a day before. Any one have other evidence. Oh well.

remember though that this forum is representative of the top applicants... im 99% sure w&m sends them in two groups- in state and out of state. rejections and acceptances together..

Asparagus: How do you know they are sent together? Was this the way it was done last year? Might they not have changed it this year. At two other schools where my d. applied, the rejections came a day or so after acceptances.

How do you explain, then, that not one person who got theirs tday was rejected? True that the people who write on this board are highly qualified; however, many people wrote in to say they did not get letters--those people were qualified as well.

Let me know why you feel that they were all sent out at once? Thanks.

I don't know anything for a fact... I mean, it's possible that they were sent out differently. I just don't see why they would... if you really want to know, why not try calling admissions today and asking them?

So far I haven't heard of anyone getting in in Georgia, and I have a feeling we're all in suburbs of Atlanta. I think perhaps because our mail has to go downtown and then come back up here to the boons it would be delayed... and I hope that's what happened!

I can't imagine that all three people from my school got rejected, they've been accepted to other places that are in the same tier or above W&M, our stats are near/above the ones that people posted for being accepted, and I know we all wrote good essays. Congrats to those who found out, though!

Nothing in south Georgia either. Same situation accepted to same tier or above. I have noticed in several cases we have gotten letters about a day later than I thought we would. I blame it on our lousy post office.

Thanks, guys for your input. And congratulations.

I didn't get anything yet.... aaaah.

Crash and burn... Rejected in NJ. Can't say I'm surprised..

Burned by Pton today - think envelope at home. Was really hoping for good news from W/M
