<p>vatownsend, I'm very sorry. You have a right to feel bad, who wouldn't. Really, though, things will work out. Most people I've talked who didn't get in to their 1st choice school said that the school they ended up at was perfect and they couldn't imagine going anywhere else. One man wrote a funny article in a magazine about how he was rejected by Harvard and was mad and dissappointed for years. He was offered a job by them when he was close to 40, turned them down and said he felt great and wasn't dissappointed anymore. However, please don't stay dissappointed until you're 40!</p>
<p>lol, TJED. well i got rejected, but am not that bummed about it. such is life! :) but maybe someday i'll prank call the admissions officers and say something quite nasty!</p>

<p>does anyone know the percentage of people who get in out of state vs. in state?</p>
<p>because william and mary is a public school, 2/3's of their students have to be from in state.</p>
