anyone received their letter yet???

I live on the west coast, so i don't expect to get it for a while... but i figured i would start this in case anyone who lives close to georgetown has heard anything yet.

soo nervous.

i live close to Georgetown... i'm so nervous - the mail hasn't come yet! I'll let you all know.

oh my...i'm scared (West Coast)

i got mine

i take it from the unenthusiastic response that it was bad news :(

i'm sorry. that's what im expecting... but you know that you still have a shot in the spring, and im sure you are applying to lots of other great schools.

yes... deferred

don't worry, i am sure most of us are in the same situation as you. the only difference is that i am in the west coast so my fate is delayed.

anyone else???

haha deferred isn't a big deal at all, a significant % of deferred make it in during spring review. i know they dont reject, but i wouldnt be a surprised if i got a letter with like dirt in it. my app was.......how u say....pathetic

i live in freaking japan... i bet it never arrives

i do too! i wonder if we can call the admissions office for our results now since people are already getting letters... or do we have to wait until the 15/16th?

You have to wait til Thursday...

yeah i think im gonna wait until tomorrow. if i get it in the mail thats cool. if not i need to call because my counselor needs to send my school report and things like that before break but most everything depends on whether I get in or not... so we'll see...

autumn dude... where in japan do you live?

LOL, I'm in the same position as you, autumn dude. I live in China and I'm hoping that they'll send the decision by express mail (FedEx/DHL) if I'm accepted. Does Georgetown announce decisions by email?

hey asia people. i called cuz im goin on vacation for while and i needed to know. they kindly said "your deferred'. they were nice and didnt seem to mind that i called.
