<p>My DD wanted to get the HE!! outof Texas, but ended up attending and loving Rice. Three years later, DS was thrilled to get admitted, and loved his time at Rice. Both had excellent education, met lots of fine folk, and have had great post education success.</p>
<p>Could someone tell OP more about the NYU environment? I have never been there, but a neighbor girl came home after 1 semester because she wanted a “real college campus.” Apparently NYU is very urban. That would be my bigger concern for OP; all his other choices, including Rice, are traditional campuses, which sounds like something he may prefer.</p>
