Yes, but they did promise it'd come out on the 28th. For people on the east coast, that's almost over.

It would be impossible to send 25,000 emails at once. But why do it by email, when you can check online? And even while sending emails out, they're by Silicon Valley.

Stanford's known for having technology, not lacking it.

Honestly, you're probably right, I'm just a little tired.

I agree that we reading too much into it, but it doesnt take 5 and half goddamn hours to send the emails. The vast majority of applicants have already heard and if they can send about 20,000 or so emails between 3:30 and 4:30, they can sure as hell finish it off in the next 5 hours. This is probably the result of some idiots careless error and that is what ****es me off.

Well, it's probably by pacific time, as most schools list decision times by their time zone. So, Stanford still has about 3.5 hours to make good on their promise. Although this SUCKS, they haven't technically done anything wrong yet.

I enjoy being the voice of reason, also known as the only person on this board who hasn't spent the entire afternoon in front of a laptop. (I didn't apply). Since I obviously have no claims on Stanford-induced insanity, I will now sit back silently and let the action unroll! good luck again!

i kept going with the sunet id thing and got to a page that says my id is reserved for me, pending authorization (or something). i think if you get that "pending..." notification you must be rejected, and if you get through you're accepted. give it a try
