Hey, just wondered if there'll actually be anyone doing the WAI? program...it seems like WOOLF is really popular, but for me, it just required too much gear that I don't have.

do WAI! i am one of the leaders and we are training right now. It's gonna be wicked fun!

i'm doing WAI. Wooolf just seems a bit...harsh

I'm doin WAI too, not tryna hike for 4 days and plus i really don't know where i am. I have a question though on the peoplesoft homepage do we just save it or is there some sort of submit button?

aggh, that got me too...I just hit save and when I clicked on the links later while in one of the other forms, it said I'd already submitted them, so I guess it worked.

Yeah, 'save' does it. Im doing WAI? too!! :D

WAI is a great program, but I should probably stick up for WOOLF here, since I'll be a WOOLF leader this year. You don't really need to own/buy any special gear at all to do WOOLF; you can borrow pretty much everything you need from the outing club. The beginner trips are not harsh at all, and lots of fun. Don't let yourself be put off from WOOLF by a lack of backpacking/outdoors experience.

Yeah, beginning backpacking trips hike something like 2 miles a day, I think.

All my friends that did WAI said it was basically driving around in a car to random places around Massachussetts. Dunno if thats better or worse than the other two (arts or bridges), but... yeah. Or you could just not do anything and sit around and sleep all day, but I wouldn't really suggest that.
