My list of colleges has dynamically changed since my sophomore year. I entered high school with the naive mindset of applying to two schools: Harvard and UF. Now I'm encountering a predicament in trying to finalize a list of schools I want to apply to.

I'm interested in double majoring in Political Science and Economics/Finance. Perhaps a minor in Psychology, Statistics, or Physics.

I want a medium-sized college. My current high school has an enrollment of roughly 2100. I want to attend a school thats about three times as big, if not bigger. A large base of school spirit is a must. I'm looking for a school that shows school spirit, from the loud hurrahs of a football game to an invigorating bonfire. I also seek an intellectual environment, but simultaneously, relaxed. I like to keep busy. I like the option of always having an event to attend, or an activity to do. I believe I'll be content in both a big town or a quaint college town.

Academically I want to be challenged, but not overburdened. I don't want classes to dominate my free time. I hope to spend it with friends and through extracurriculars. I am hoping to join clubs and organizations from Mock Trial to an Ultimate Frisbee club. Student Government, CKI, and perhaps Film Appreciation?

Some colleges I am currently considering are:

Columbia
Harvard
Yale
University of Pennsylvania
UNC - Chapel Hill
Vanderbilt
Dartmouth
University of Florida
Northwestern
Georgetown

Hopefully I'll get a more narrow, definitive list and perhaps with more recommendations. Thanks for reading all of this, and in advance for any suggestions!
