Nothing! Ackkk

I meant usually... sorry. But Nothing Here!!!!

so this means that we will never get ours scores

ack
i already got accepted into two of my safety schools, ACT sucks

act said that they will be down until tomorrow, maybe scores tomorrow?

I'm so sorry everyone. I really hope they compensate you for your losses. This is ridiculous.

Let's hope they don't do this with December's scores! Ack.

Wow, this is ridiculous! I took my test with accommodations during the testing window and postmarked to ACT during early November. (Around the 7th) My colleges already got my scores, and I'm getting mine in the mail tomorrow according to what ACT told me over the phone today!

I feel so bad for you guys........

stupid stupid stupid. i called and they're like, "well last time we updated on friday, there were still 14,000 tests....."

WHAT?!!!!! 14,000?!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO STICK SCANTRONS INTO A MACHINE A LOT MORE EFFICIENTLY...

I second that. This is on the ACT Student site:
"Important Notice:
Due to scheduled maintenance, web services will not be available beginning at 10:00 p.m. (central time) Wednesday, December 12. Please try back after 4:00 a.m. (central time) Thursday, December 13. We apologize for any inconvenience."

doubtful, but maybe this might mean something...

i asked about that tooo (AHAHH i call so much its ridiculous. i have their number memorized ..-______-)

she said most likely not (but the company has such a lack of communication, ***?) since they only update wednesdays and fridays. lets just pray!

The only way they know how many there are is if they're already scanned. It's not the scanning that takes this long, it's the manual resolution of matching and test form discrepancies.

I don't think ACT actually grades the tests. I know Collegeboard contracts out the grading to a third party company. They keep telling me on the phone that they can't tell me who actually grades the tests, becuase I was gonna call them up and give them a piece of my mind ;)

The scanning is contracted to another company, but like I said the scanning would've been finished long ago. The manual labor of fixing mismatched data and any hand scoring is done by ACT.

so why aren't they able to verify that they have received my test yet? I wanted to make sure it didn't get lost in transit, but they told me that they all haven't been scanned in yet.

^same. :/ (10char)

I'm getting increasingly nervous that they lost my test.
I talked with a friend of mine today who took the April ACT, and he told me he had a horrible experience when he took it. They "misplaced" his ACT booklet for two months and in late June they finally found it after he had hassled them for some time. It makes me nervous, because even though they eventually found it - I can't wait that much longer!

no scores again, YIPPEEEE

14,000 tests> this is insane!

they said all scores will be online by the 22nd at the latest date, and you can call and ask if your testing materials were received.

They extended the mailing date to 8 weeks

Yeah, that is what they told me today. They also confirmed that my test was received. I hope it will be in time for a 12/31 deadline :X

and again, why havent they posted this news on the site?

arent they obliged to do that?

THEY EXTENDED IT!?!

wow watch my get my stupid december scores before
..............................................................................................sigh :(
