Wow thanks u save me from a possible future disappointment! :)

This is my take at college list in post #9.

You must have found that list as the colleges that meet the need of every accepted student. However, these colleges meet the full need of students from USA only. I quite well remember going through the same list.

Georgetown and Cornell are need blind to internationals as well , but they do not meet our full need.

Barnard is excellent women’s only college , which take very few internationals per year. I think number is below 20.

Pitzer does not provide need based aid to internationals at all.
4.Have a close look at these college before applying.

Adrian College Adrian MI,Campbell University Buies Creek NC,Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, Ohio State University, OH,Stevens Institute of Technology,Thomas Aquinas College Santa Paula CA,University of Rochester Rochester NY,Salem College Winston-Salem NC,College of the Holy Cross Worcester MA, Chapman and Carrol

MY research suggest these colleges do not provide kind of aid we are looking for.

5.The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Chapel Hill NC and University of Notre Dame Notre Dame IN are two “lesser known”( I am comparing to likes of MIT, CALTECH AND all) great national universities with great engineering program. They need a STRONG SAT score however.

I suggest considering Berea College, Cooper Union, Rollins, jacobs, germany etc. which are not in the list.

Remaining Colleges look great to apply.

Wow! Thank you so very much some of the info you provided was really very helpful!

As all senior students have much greater knowledge about the entire process of application and others related to applying to US universities please help by posting any information you think might be very handy for students like me vying for the 2014 fall session. This can include anything like minor details one needs to consider while applying to miscellaneous things like possible ECAs one can consider to strengthen their resume!

Bryn Mawr, Barnard, Mt.Holyoke, Smith are womens colleges :)
