Well last year, I got my decision at 6pm. I was just about to give up, but I pressed refreshed one last time, and all the sudden the page was different. I was so surprised I screamed haha...

I called around 12 today and based on what the person I talked to said, it seems like they're letting the online response and the paper response out at the same time. So based on my understanding of what he said, if you got your response posted online today, you should be getting your letter soon, but if not, they'll send it out on the same day they post it online.

I hope I understood wrong though, because I'm still waiting and it's really stressful.

I have been reading about everyone's decisions and I feel sooo bad for you guys but...it made me remember that this is what happened to my D last year--just like flixchix described. There was a day or so of kids posting that they got their BU decisions online whereas her applicant status was unchanged. I was the one checking (because I'm the computer nerd, not her) and around 9:30 on a Tuesday night her status changed to "Congratulations...." The email did not come from BU until a day or so later and the packet (snail mail) came a week later. Hang in there, keep the faith, but remember that a year from now you will likely be very happy where you are, even if it is not BU.

Same thing happened to me with the e-mail, dcmom3, I didn't get my e-mail until hours after my decision was posted online. So the system is by no means flawless.

I didn't even get an e-mail to check my admission status, I just thought I'd check it around midnight. I checked it before I went to work as well... and I was at work from 4 to 8, so I am assuming that it was posted after 5.
