<p>At the Amtrak stop in San Diego, are there any shuttles I can take that take me directly to UCSD?</p>

<p>there is a bus that cost $2. It's the 101 that goes on gilman. I would say the best stop would be in Solana Beach. The 101 will take you there and i'll take about 30 min or so to get there. But the bus online comes every 30 minutes so show up early. Solana Beach is the best station to take b/c is up north whereas the others are south of SD. It took me about an hour and 30 min from Solana Beach to fullerton. I missed the train I supposed to go on by like a minute. When i got off the bus the train just came in but left in 2 min. The best view is on the left side (ocean). If you need anymore info hit me up... I just took the amtrak thursday to fullerton. Aight peace</p>

<p>I took the 5:58 (supposedly) 101 bus to get to Solano Beach for the 6:43 train and I did not make it in time. I didn't have time to pick up my ticket, but I just hopped on the train anyways. :)</p>
<p>So yea. Take a bus at least an hr before your train. That was my lesson of this weekend.</p>
