AP and CC

I'm currently taking psychology at a local CC, because I thought I wasn't going to have enough classes to take AP Psychology next year. (I'm currently a junior.)

But I've been thinking about it, and I might have to drop AP Physics seeing that I'm struggling in physics right now. I'm not much of a math whiz either and seeing that AP Physics is based on Calculus.....o.o

I can drop the CC class and get a 50% refund, but...

My question is this: Does it look bad if I take psychology at a local CC, and then take AP Psychology my senior year? This is the only AP left that I can take at my school.

Finish off your CC class unless you won't get penalized for withdrawing a course.

Colleges cannot gauge the difficulty of CC courses; no it doesn't look horrible if you took AP Psych afterwards.

Take a reasonable amount of APs and challenge yourself accordingly.

For now, do not drop psychology if there is a W on your transcript or whatever.

(Does the CC course appear on your HS transcript? If it doesn't, don't worry about it. It'll just be in limbo for the rest of your life if you drop it.)

Fix your schedule and do what you and your counselor thinks is best.
