our school uses Campbell but we don't go over everything in campbell. like i went back home one day and read over the chapter we discussed in class and i was like... this has so much information that we never talked about... to guarantee a 5 on the ap, should i know EVERYTHING in campbell??

You definitely don't need to know everything in your textbook to do well on the AP test. I'm not sure if this is the exact figure, but something like 60% of your grade is determined by essays, which are actually really vague and easy to do even when you have limited knowledge. As for the MC, you probably want to know more than just what you talk about in class. Cliffsnotes is probably enough detail to serve you well.

And it never hurts to read through your textbook once and a while, especially if you get to a topic that you feel is confusing, or better yet, interesting.

i have the barron's ap biology book. i'll probably get cliffs too but is the barrons book too detailed?

Which would you guys say is the best review book for AP Bio? Barron's or Cliffs?
