AP Biology and the Exam (for those who haven taken it)

So this year I'm taking AP Biology and am doing well in the class. I read the book, do my homework and understand the material. But what I'm worried about, is that after time goes on, I forget the specifics of certain things. I don't forget the subject completely, but just some specifics. Is this a bad thing and will it affect me and the exam, or is it normal. Thanks!

Unless you happened to have a photographic memory, it’s perfectly normal. After all, if you do happened to remember the specifics, there would be no need to review for finals/ap exams right?

i think forgetting some concepts is normal. the concepts are studying to fade from me as well. but that’s why we have prep books to study before finals/midterms/ AP Exam. I think as long as the very important terms are understood, prep books will refresh memories.

If you work hard in the class and study as you should be doing, you’ll do fine on the AP tests. From what I remember, there’s a generous curve on the AP Biology exam, so forgetting some specifics won’t be detrimental. Usually, you can safely eliminate a couple of choice just based on general knowledge. Just work assiduously and you’ll be fine.
