AP Biology MC Questions

So I checked out the sample AP Biology MC questions on College Board's apcentral, and I am wondering if the sample questions they provide are relatively accurate to what the real MC questions are?

Feedback is much appreciated.

Yes, the sample questions are pretty accurate to the actual exam.

Thanks fabrizio.

Sample questions in general in the course description do seem to be slightly more difficult than the average question, though.

Sweet. They seemed easier than I excepted though. :) I was expecting alot more specific questions like enzymes and etc.

I have a couple of questions regarding the subject though:

Where are the phytochromes located?

Is lytic cycle and lysogenic cycle exclusive to prokaryotes or do these cycles exist in eukaryotes, but with slight variations?

Are operons exclusive to prokaryotes? Or do operons also exist in eukaryotes?

phytochromes: on the in thylakoid membranes of chroloplasts.

Lytic and lysogenic cycle: I'm not sure but I think not since how virus gets into its host cells depends on host cell's outside structures. And I don't think this question will be on the AP exam.

Operons: They also exist in eukaryotes. But this won't be on the AP exam. It's too ambiguous.

Thanks valecollegorian.

Phytochromes aren't photosystems right? The two are independent of each other?
