@brixtonshifty86 i got 49500.

Is it still possible to get a 4 without answering 3 short answer FRQs? Or is that a stretch? Praying real hard right now

Are we even really supposed to be talking about FRQ’s

I thought that time was bad for MC and good for FRQ, but I sort of rushed through the FRQ

@Velencia if you did good on the MC you should be able to get a 4

Well there goes my 4, lol.

I find it so weird that I had Form D and I literally had NONE of these essay questions. Mine were about DNA and isotopes (10 pts), speciation in dinosaurs (10 pts), the nervous system (4 pts i think), this diagram with an experiment and neurotransmitters (4 pts?), an experiment using an “unknown substance” that you had to explain why it was an enzyme (3 pts?), industrial melanism (3 pts?), the phases of mitosis and how long a cell spent in each based upon data and draw a pie chart (4 pts?), and i can’t remember the last one. It honestly seems that NO ONE had these essays?? I don’t understand

I got 4995, the growth u do dN/dt for first generation: 52+48.5=101 and then second generation dN/dt: 101+90=191 as max

I got 4995 as well but then I just rounded it to 5000 because I wasn’t sure how you were supposed to get a very accurate reading from that graph… so I hope they’ll be lenient there.

What did you get for the probability of the dominant allele (last grid-in question)?

.89 or .83 something like that?

0.63

okay, that’s what i got too

i got .67 or .63 and so did one of my friends, but others got around .89, think it was a different question. mine was something around 2000/2000+11000, which gets you q^2. then square root, i got .like .37, so .63 for dominant.

@brixtonshifty86 i got 4995 as well. it was just the slope.

It’s p for gametes, p^2 + 2pq for zygotes or actual trait

It was asking for the probability of a member of the population being dominate which was like 11k dominant members out of 12k total members p^2+2pq= 11k then its p^2+2pq/(p^2+2pq+q^2) = like .89 or something

Also does anyone know why they throw out 10 questions? Are these the ones that most people don’t do well on or is it completely random? I’m not sure which one is the pH one but if it was that really long and complicated one near the mid 50s, I’d like that one thrown out too cause I didn’t even read it properly since time was at 30s or so. I found the start to be easy but I’m so stressed cause I didn’t even attempt the grid-ins because I thought there was a separate time for that… OTL and I’m actually good at math so that would have been some points for me

wasnt it asking the frequency of the dominant allele? so p? or was it asking for frequency of those expressing dominant trait?

honestly i dont remember
