@gkdudtlffj Would they give me points if I said wthe sun ughhhhh I couldn’t think
Guys, did anyone know what the eDNA question’s answer is. Like how do we justify it, what is the advantage of long dna fragments instead of short, and the reasoning as to why the positive sample is false?
probably not… germinated seeds still can grow in the dark.
@j2000bly probably not. Germinated seeds still grow in the dark
Quick question. Is there a correlation between late testing and regular testing? Like my teacher told me that last testing have questions that are harder than regular testing. Can someone confirm this?
@Suk2001 You can justify it saying that each species have unique DNA compared to each other and living organisms shed eDNA constantly. You can reason that the rivers probably transported the eDNA into the Lake
You guys remember some mc question on butterfly population and the recessive allele was decreasing?
@darkcrescendo hard is relative depending on how well you study and which area you are strong in. I would personally say that if the mc was hard then FRQ will be easy (vice versa). I honestly thought mc for Form O was incredibly easy but the FRQ seemed easy. However, I was wrong because I got about 27/41 if the grader is harsh (depending on how generous the grader is)
Wait so the plants gets its energy from water? not nutrients in the soil?
honestly some of these frqs aren’t great and don’t make a lot of sense, still have no idea how to properly read that plant growth graph. the fact that theres still so much uncertainty around so many of these questions, while they failed to test so many significant topics is disappointing
I said that the plants get energy from the nutrients in the seed from the endosperm
@gradeobsessed Looking at the graph the percent dry weight during the first week of may, the seeds dont show up at all. Are seeds existing at that point inferred?
Also was it the stems that grew the most in the first week? I put roots, but i think its stems now looking at it.
@BOBROSS yeah I probably got it wrong and I put roots for that
Man that graph was so convoluted… I hope the curve is good.
For the seed, i think roots makes sense. If you look at an image of seed germination from start, the firstbpart to grow is the roots.
Am I the only one who thought the graph was pretty easy to read? lol
For part a, most of the energy was used to grow the roots.
For part b, at the first day of July, 50% of the energy was used towards the leaves.
@SugarSmarts @glassflowers yeah I like Big Bang as well… I really like Taeyang’s voice though hahaha
I failed, I put nutrient 2 for the bacteria graph because I thought since they were able to adapt to it and not die after eating Nutrient 1… Plus there were more nutrient 2 but I think I backed my points up accurately enough
Are the answers leaked yet?
@latiere haha same, 2AM is really pretty
