I got a couple review books from the library. One is for the english tests and is from 1992 (by Barron's). THe other is also from Barrron's but is over AP Chemistry and is from 1995. Are these books too old to study from? What is your general opinion of Barron's review books for these tests?

I personally like Barron's AP review books -

And I use old books, and have used old prep books (that is what I get for having two older brothers ...!) and they are no different from the new books - UNLESS the test has been changed. Otherwise, do not worry.

English? Come on! It changes, yes, but the English taught in colleges certainly hasn't changed in twelve years. Still, check the revised syllabus at collegeboard.

You can still use that Chemistry book, but I would definitely check the revised syllabus.
