So this year I’m a junior at a high school who’s rigorous courses offering is pretty low so I chose to take the most rigorous courses that we offered-AP classes. I’m taking AP Calc, Lit, and APUSH as an independent study while also juggling two ECs, Latin 1 and Trig (that I need for my major). I decided to take all of these APs because I didn’t take any last year because no one informed me that some were offered to sophomores.
I’m super stoked for the challenge but I find that Calc is kicking my butt. I already hate math so it’s not making it easier along with my Trig class right after the Calc class (I have four hours of math in one day) so I’ve tried to be positive about it and make myself happy. What are some good Calc study tips that help you guys out and how do you approach learning math? It’s pretty hard for me to get the set-in-stone ideals of math in the first place (I like the world of big ideas better than small details) so I’m open to all suggestions.
Also I suck at time management and with 3 APs I kinda need it. Help.
You should have taken Trig last year… if you don’t know Trig then calculus will be impossible
