2 (x^3)/5

sorry sorry, number 1 day 2...
1/(x+h)

guys ... i would really appreciate if you could post the steps and not just the final answers, so zumy if you could do that ...

and look out for day 3 around tmrw at noon

b u m p

Can't we just move on... i mean day 3 was yesterday anywayz

sorry... i am going to post day 3 a little bit later on today the reason i am asking you to post the full solutions for some of these questions is because i have no idea what you did with them (i dont have the answers, i am actually doing these with all of you)

so if you could post the solutions to day 2

1 and #3

lol i'm only a frshmen this looks confusing.

what math are u in this yr?

what u do is make common denomonators so you can dd or subtract the fractions...it's a complex way of doing sumtin you've done for years...that's the mott of the math you're going to be doing throughout Algebra

I am in Alg II/Trig.(we take it b4 geom)

day 3 ...

Solve For Z

1.) 4x + 10yz = 0

2.) y2 + 3yz 8z 4x = 0

1) 10yz= -4x
z = (-4x) / ( 10y) = (-2x) / (5y)

2) y^2+3yz-8z = 4x
z(3y-8) = 4x-y^2
z= (4x-y^2) / (3y-8)

yeah, Jai's answers work out, i think. It's what i got...

day 4... and day 5 (because we're behind)

If; f(x) = {(3,5), (2,4), (1,7)} g(x) = square root of quantity (x-3)
h(x)= {(3,2), (4,3), (1,6)} k(x) = x2 + 5

determine each of the following

(f + h)(1) = 2. (k g)(5) = 3. (f ◦ h)(3) = 4. (g ◦ k)(7) = 5. f -1(x) = 6. k-1(x) =

1/f(x) = 8. (kg)(x) =

b u m p

b u m p ttt

bump noone wants to answer day 4 and 5? they were up 4 days ago

oh maybe everyone feels they know this part...let's just skip the functions and move onto sumthing harder like trig or whatever, then maybe everyone would come back to the thread,
Greg

Actually, I would appreciate it if you could post the answers for the day 4 and 5 answers if you know it.

Thanks

i agree with jai i dont kno how to do some of these
