I took alot of trigonometry in sophmore year but i also some precalc not much but 3 topics at most. I find the trig regents really easy, ive gotten 100-97 on all the past 5 that ive taken. Would it be hard to go straight to AP Calculus AB. And also if I do plan to go, I would want to research about the AP Calc Ab before taking the actual course. However I cant find any website that actually has all the topics listed, does anyone where?

For me at least, precalc was essentially worthless, containing little helpful in AP Calc.

You should be able to find an outline of the class on the official College Board page for AP Calc.

AP Calculus definitely requires you to know trigonometry, which is what is learned in most Pre-Calculus courses, and there is usually not that much extra material covered in Pre-Calculus and not in Trigonometry that is particularly useful in Calculus. At my school, there are many students who go from Trigonometry straight to Calculus. However, it really depends on what you think your mathematical ability is, and your ability to handle a large workload.

ap calculus is essentially following a formula, then a ton of algebra 2/trig. I transitioned from alg2/trig honors to ap calc ab right away and im doing fine. Go for it, as long as you put the time into it!

You should be fine if you understand trig concepts and you have a fundamental understanding of Algebra II.
