Hi guys!
I was wondering if you knew of any sort of review book that has a lot of information; essentially one that would over-prepare you for calculus subjects?

I'm pulling a low grade in the class right now, and I don't personally think the textbook provides the best examples (as of right now. I've heard from some people it's super helpful)

Is there any book or website that would really help me boost my grade and my knowledge for calculus? : )

Thanksss!

Well, most review books are intended for, well, review, so that probably wouldn’t be the best option. If you do go that route, though, try Barron’s–they overdo everything in almost every prep book they make, haha.

I would recommend asking your teacher if he/she could give you another calculus textbook so that you don’t have to buy one. Someone in my class complained about our book, and my teacher offered to give her a different textbook for additional problems and examples. In fact, he gave me a second textbook (though I didn’t really ask for one…long story).

You can also find additional examples for almost any concept online. Try youtube and look up “implicit differentiation,” for example, and a bunch of videos with examples come up. I particularly recommend khanacademy.org for additional examples because he keeps most of his videos under ten minutes (unless they’re proofs or crazy long problems). You can also try watching lectures from college websites–like MIT (ocw.MIT.edu) or Stanford or other universities that make their lectures available to the public.
