I have a huge problem in my AP Calculus class, I do not have an AP Calculus teacher. Yesterday was her last day before her maternity leave. I am so worried because my class is a behind because of some problems in this part of the country. (We missed more than a week of school during Hurricane Rita) We are barely on Chain Rule and I am worried we are not going to get much done in time for the AP test. I spent the whole day today drawing doodles for that class. I would have brought my book, but she usually does not require us to bring it, so I could not do my assignment. I asked my teacher if she knew who they would hire in her place and she responded by telling me no. She doubted they would hire anyone good. Does anyone know of any good AP Calculus prep books? Some friends and I will be going to her house for study session, but until she leaves the hospital, we cannot go.

Chain rule isn't that bad. My class is on related rates, which is a little after Chain rule and implicit differentation. That said tho, implicit differentiation and related rates are NOT topics you want a poor instructor teaching you.

Don't feel bad. We had our test on limits today.

Limits? Your chances of covering all the AP topics before Macrh are approaching zero :P

Well our class only started 3 weeks ago. We did (quite a bit of) review and the limits in 3 weeks. And also, just wondering, why March?

My fault, I'm just now realizing that schools in the MidSouth start a lot earlier than schools in the NorthEast.
