AP Capstone Diploma

I’m becoming a sophomore. I really want to major in Computer science. I’m debating of whether to take AP Seminar or AP World History. If I do AP World History, then I have to do AP Bio and Chemistry with it. However, if I do AP Seminar, I figure my workload next year would be easier. If I do AP Seminar, because I plan to take AP Lang my junior year, I can’t take AP Research. (I can’t take AP Research in senior year due to my school’s AP policy)
Should I take the risk and do AP World History, AP Bio, and Chem together, or just take Seminar. If I only take AP Seminar and not AP Research, won’t it seem like I did a half course since AP Seminar and AP Research comes as a set?
Please help me!

“If I do AP World History, then I have to do AP Bio and Chemistry with it.”

Why?

“If I only take AP Seminar and not AP Research, won’t it seem like I did a half course since AP Seminar and AP Research comes as a set?”

Almost no colleges would care. Many don’t give credit for either.

Check the number of schools that give credit for AP Capstone courses in case you’re doing it to earn college credit. Iirc, the number was about 15-20% of the “core” AP tests.

If you’re taking it as an elective, because it’s interesting, that’s fine - I’m sure it teaches valuable skills. Taking one and not the other is fine.

I also wonder why there’s a dependency between World and two science courses. When you say your workload will be “easier”, what will you have in place of Chem and Bio?
