I'm self studying for the AP chem exam, with Zumdahl's book. I already know half of the material, but have to study the specifics. The main problem I have is knowing the different precipitate colors, labs, etc. Does anyone know any sites that will help with this?

can't help you but good luck..

dont really worry about the lab question, you will be able to get 2 or 3 points on it on the AP without studying, which is what most people get anyway

i recommend that you get barron's SAT II prep book for both details. it's fairly concise and will have what you need. i don't recommend that you get barron's AP chem book. the tests are not very realistic.

i too self studied ap chem in conjunction with honors chem using Zumdahl's book. I suggest u get a prep book (arco, which i personally liked, or princeton review, which i've also heard is good) becuz it will usually have the information really organized.

For labs, buy the CliffsAP Chemistry book, it has every lab, so just read over those. For colors, I think there is a chapter towards the end of Zumdahl that has some commmon colors of precipitate that you can just memorize.

I can't imagine self-studying Chem. How did you do wrathofgod64? If you got above a 3, I want to shake your hand. That class was a pain!

i got a 5, but chem comes easier to me than other subjects
