@dkdk do you know what the answer choices were?
if they were far apart, then you pull off massive rounding maybe?
(.1)(.1)(400)
lol

or maybe even .09x.08= .0072
round that to .0070 and multiply by 400

and yeah i think they still make you do stupid calculations i got 5+ wrong on the 2008 mc due to calculation errors… lol

Back then they allowed calculators

^they probably don’t allow calculators now because you can enter so much info on there to cheat…

i know a guy who has all the molecular shapes and the periodic table with nonmetal/metal and properties in his graphing calculator… wth

the answers were 3, 1, .5, .1, .03

(the correct one is clearly 3)

just look at differences in electronegativity(however you spell that)

the bigger the difference, the more polar

good luck in the morning everyone.

lemone, generally, no as C-H bonds are not polar

If I can pull off a 4 or 5 than I’ll be super happy.

quick question on 2009 ap chem fr #6 A asks for electron configuration of S
if i wore [Ne] 3s2 3p4 expanded for readablility , would they count this or do they only want the entire thing written out?

I LOVE HOW THEY TOOK DOWN THE FRQ’S ON AP CENTRAL O.o
btw i made the most EPIC review sheets of colors of things and of VESPR stuff (electron domain and molecular geometry :P)

@ lemone
you should see the formula split up for NiS04 is Ni(2+) + SO4(2-)

so it takes 2 moles of electrons to make each mole of Ni into the metal

so you would do .2F*molNi/2F cancel the 2 & F and you need .1mol Ni which in grams would be 5.87 i believe

OMG RAINBOW ROSE WHY DID THEY DO THAT
holy crap so now my practice for frqs are screwed THANKS COLLEGEBOARD

and dkdkdk if they ask for the whole electron configuration, you have to write the whole thing out. you can only abbreviate it if they say specifically to ask for the noble gas configuration

Why isn’t it 0.2 farad = 95000/5 = 20000C/mol??

How does that work? I am just rounding off numbers

uhm you could do that if you want, youre just changing units though

if you do that change the 2 on the bottom i had for electrons you need to 2(95,000)

lol

im so nervous for tmrw!!! IB history HL paper 1 and 2 in the afternoon… :(
