AP CHEMISTRY review books???

My class ordered the REA test prep book (REA Online - Making The World Smarter%5DREA">http://www.rea.com/display_prod.cfm?p=0738604275&g=0878916520)).
It was easy to understand in my opinion, and prepared us pretty well. The only issue I had with it was the version that they sent us (9th ed.) wasn't updated with the new test format. It still had the "pick 7/10 chemical equations given below and write them out" format. But apparently it's updated in the 10th ed.
i got a 5 by the way =)

PR - no question. It explains everything so well, and is the best a review-book can offer. Just a warning: it's not a textbook...so don't just rely on the info in PR, use your textbook for more detail

Barrons all the way! Though I would recommend that you use another source for the acid/base equilibrium chaps

That's interesting. PR was my least favorite for Chem. I didn't think it was detailed enough to actually help grasp the concepts fully for the test. I think PR would definitely be good for reviewing if you already know Chemistry really really well.

My favorite was Arco. I thought it had thorough explanations of everything that could be tested on. It was the most detailed, in my opinion, without overcomplicating the subject.
