I want to make sure I get a good AP Chem book. What do you recommend other than the PR? I'm going to buy the PR, but I also want a supplement or something for the PR to be a supplement to. Chem is not my strongest subject and I plan on reviewing a lot. I don't really like the look of Barron's because it's like a textbook. I've looked at Kaplan and like it a lot. Some people like 5 Steps to a 5...is that any good? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I think Kaplan is pretty good. I also used Barron's, but it covers a lot of unnecessary stuff and there's lots of errors and typos. If you don't know your chemistry, you could get really confused by Barron's.

Some people have told me Barron's is good if you have gaps in your chem knowledge. I have quite a few gaps in my basic chemistry understanding. Maybe Barron's can help fill those? Also...I know Cliffs is good for reviewing all of the labs. Do the other review books cover the labs well?
