AP Chinese Testing Location

My school doesn't offer the AP Chinese Test, so I was thinking of taking at a nearby school. Does anyone know of anybody in my situation or how I should go about this?

What do you mean they don’t offer it?
Can’t they just order it?
That’s what my school did.

hey, i had the same problem last year when i took it (got a 5 btw  anyone can its really easy). my mom called all nearby schools and even college board and ETS and they all said the nearest one was out of state in new york. so we went up and took it in a different school  u cant just order a test for one person at your school

Actually your school can order tests for just one person. I’ve been able to do that.

I’m doing that this year with couple AP tests.
If you’re located in CA I would use the UC a-g course list to check if a school offers the course. If they offer the course, they probably offer the test.

Otherwise, call Collegeboard. I would write a list of school districts and their zip codes, since CB uses zip codes to search. Check nearby districts’ course catalogs to see if they have the class.

If you call collegeboard and they are unable to give you any names of coordinators, just email or call the school’s vice principal in charge of testing.

Hoped this help, I had the same problem this year too. (Had to get up at 6 to call CB…) sigh I hate the time zones

Yes, I took it at a location other than out school a couple years ago. You just have to sign up under the school that is administering the test.
