I am Currently in 10th Grade. I have The credits to Graduate next year (three years of school). If i stay in high school for for four year i could take AP Calculas as well as other advanced classes. Would it better to stay and do four years or Graduate in three years? What would look better to collages. ( I am a Straight A student, involved with community service groups, Music program and play varsity Basketball)

I would recommend that you remain for the full four years. Collages (or colleges) do not likely care one way or another, but I suspect you will grow in unexpected ways during that last year. It is a time to give back a little- to expand in your community (or beyond) based extracurriculars, to mentor younger members of the basketball team (and maybe even serve in a leadership role working with the coach as team captain), to help organize (and attend) the prom, and to solidify friendships and celebrate the culmination of your education so far.

Many students need to take a few classes at a community college to get all the classes they need for their senior year, but in terms of friends, leadership opportunities, and time to really accomplish in your basketball and ECs (and to properly go through the college application process), you would be missing out on a lot in exchange for gaining virtually nothing. It is called a “high school experience” for a reason. Otherwise it would be called a “high school pass-a-bunch-of-classes.”

Also, you may be better off with this thread moved to a more general forum- why did you choose the Ga Tech forum for your posting?

OP probably chose the GA Tech forum since they have a prominent Early Admission category on their website and the commonapp, unlike other “collages”
