<p>hum also with ap credits do elective credits really help with much? does sophmore standing get you anything?</p>
<p>You get to register early. That's about it.</p>
<p>I believe a four or five on the BC test can get you out of Calc 1 and 2, but if you get a three it's only elective units.</p>

<p>hey so if u score 4's or 5's on some classes that don't get you out of category classes you still can opt out of classes with ur ap credits? crud i thought that you only get elective credits for those tests that can't get you out of ge's; wat about eng lit?</p>

<p>Elective credits aren't pointless...because of them, I only have 70 units left...and I'm a freshman.</p>

<p>Yeah, pre-high school graduation credits are capped at 32, and it does free up space so you can minor.</p>
