AP credit or placement?

<p>Anyone know how APs work at Haverford? Are they used for placement only? Or can we get credit (so we can take more classes in areas that really interest us)?</p>

<p>Any chance we can place out of some distributional requirements with APs? (dreaming on this i am sure)</p>

<p>You can get up to 4 credits (= one semester’s worth of coursework) for AP exams. A score of 4 on an AP language exam will satisfy the foreign language requirement, but you cannot get out of distribution requirements with AP credit.</p>
