AP Euro discussion

I think I made a mistake, but I hope it is a minor/insignificant one: for the essays, when I labelled each page, I put down ONLY the number of the essay and not the letter of the part(e.g. for the DBQ pages I just put the number 1 in the label box instead of 1-A or A-1 or whatever). Is this a major issue? Will it impact me at all?

It’s ok. My proctor didn’t even tell us to label it. I just did because I remember the examples I saw from College Board…

I thought the MC was a little tricky. I answered about 76 i think, and i’m guessing i got at least 60 right. i don’t want to over-grade myself

For the DBQ, I used 8 of the documents, fulfilled the core requirements, had relevent outside info, and from what I can remember, I had 4 POVs. I’m thinking a 7

for the FRQs I chose 4 and 7

The first set, I could not decide because I hated them all, I didn’t really care to learn about eastern europe in the 20th century. So I chose 4, and I took a big risk by either being very vague, and not getting very many points, or guessing on the different policies of Frederick the Great and Joseph II and risk getting them mixed up and failing horribly. I chose the latter, and it payed off. immediately after the test I looked up both of them, and I didn’t make any mistakes, I just could have added more info. I’m thinking 5 or 6

For 7, I thought this one was pretty easy, I couldn’t really tie Newton to the promp so i just bsed something. I’m thinking a 6 or 7

guys, i have a question.
I was looking at the cut off points for 4 and 5 and most applications and other APs cut off point for a 5 is around 115. But i been doing some calculations and it seems ridiculously low.
Than means u need only an average of 57.5/90 on both the MC and Essay, which seems very low. I probably only need like a 30 on essays to get a 5 if that is true.
I am interested in what you guys think and what the estimate for the actual cut off point for 5 is.

I would not get your hopes up for essay scores. I think the averages are quite low since there is so much they can ask (even if they insist that the essays are all about “themes”).

Screwed up the DBQ (yeah, how the heck is that possible) I just blanked
MC 55+
FRQ1: 6
FRQ2: 5
Hoping for a 3!
