hi there,
for this whole year for my ap euro class i have been using the kaplan ap euro prep book for any additional help for studying, and i have found it very effective. However, I have not seen many people in my school use the kaplan book at all in this community and in my school. Many people have been using princeton review prep book, but when i used that book, I didn’t find it that effective along time ago.
So what is a good prep book for the ap euro exam?
And if anyone used the kaplan one, was it effective? (Haven’t heard much about kaplan from others)
Oh and how was the ap euro exam even though we get a brand new version of it this yr…
Thanks for advice
When I took Euro, which was a rather long time ago at this point, many of us used Princeton Review. Princeton Review definitely has better summaries of the historical content than Kaplan when I was studying for the exam (but that may have changed). In my opinion, you should get the book that offers the better practice exams. If you’ve been keeping up with your course material in the class, you probably have a good understanding of the content and you should also practice taking the exam itself (which is very different from any other test you’ll take in high school).
the more advice, the merrier
The exam totally changes this year
Is there anymore advice pls from others… I am trying to get as much advice as possible
the best prep you can do for AP Euro is to take practice exams, so ask your teacher if he/she has any extra exams from previous years. AP doesn’t release all the tests, so they are limited and might be hard to come by. Otherwise, Princeton review is generally a very good and reliable book to study from.
