What did everyone write?
I did Absolutism and Urbanization.</p>
<p>I wrote about Chuch-State Relations and Urbanization! What were your points on for the latter?</p>
<p>I broke it up into why they left the countryside and why they went to the side (push vs pull). Very original, I know.</p>
<p>I put at first:
-enclosure
-farming sucks (ex: potato famine)
-and then freedom of serfs in Russia ( they were allowed to leave)</p>
<p>Next:
-IR jobs
-putting out system moved
And a couple of small points.</p>
<p>That sounds solid! My points were almost the same.</p>
<p>Whew! I’m hoping for a 6+.
Do you know anything about scoring?</p>
<p>Good intro, solid thesis, and these points?</p>
<p>From what I understand of the scoring, I think if you have that, along with some good evidence, you will have a 6+.</p>
<p>Are you as confident with the other essays?</p>
<p>Umm…I thought my other one was okay (Absolutism)–but now I’m not sure.
I wrote about eliminating the noble power (France and Spain), religion, military strength, and improving economies so they ruled over a strong country. I used specific examples/names/actions in a variety of countries to do this.</p>
<p>The DBQ was okay. I probably got a 6 or an 8. Some of my POVs were weak.</p>

<p>That sounds good! After thinking about it, I probably should have chosen that topic haha.</p>
<p>Immediately after finishing the test, I thought I did pretty well…but I’ve been doubting myself ever since, even though I know there’s no point. Sigh…less than 2 months until we get scores!</p>
<p>For the urbanization topic, I put:</p>
<ol>
<li>Enclosure movements that left many former farmers seeking employment</li>
<li>Mechanization that led to less demand for labour in farms and end of the cottage/putting out system</li>
<li>Factory system that had high demand for cheap labour</li>
</ol>
<p>@HvePassion Those are the exact points for my paragraphs that I used! They all sort of overlapped, though.</p>
