AP exam scores

My physics teacher doesn’t teach well (read: at all) and warned us that she wouldn’t finish the course in time (she didn’t) so I decided not to take the exam.
I also may have failed my Calc BC exam although I got a 5 on AB…
Will this greatly affect my chances of getting into engineering or architecture at Tech?

All that really matters is your final grade in the class, the higher the better, obviously.

VT does not consider AP scores for admission, only for credit transfer, and only for certain classes.

For engineering, you cannot use your AP credits to toward physics, so it doesn’t really matter what score you get on that test.

For math, your 5 in AB (or a 3 in BC) might place you out of MATH 1225. Although I wouldn’t suggest it unless you are very comfortable with the subject.
