It really depends on which subject you take. I heard AP Biology and possibly Chem don't have essays.

the ap world dbq will be so easy.. like u will start laughing at how easy it is

the essays r all 1000-1700... they give u 3 choices for each essay so its not that bad

but yea... there MIGHT be 2 questions out of 70/80 [however many there r] on france and britain...

its allllll middle east, asia, africa, latin america.... cuz they make the AP WORLD test in such a way that its very different from AP EURO OR AP US.... so... they try to incorporate as little from ap us and ap euro as possible

AP Bio does have essays..I found them much better than the multiple choice.

gosh. anyone know if the English AP Exams need essay writing? i`m thinking that they probably do.

Of course Ap English has essays, I heard gotta write four essays too. >_<

I am soo scared! I have biology AP and history AP , i am not finished in either , and i have the SATS comming up too . I am soo scared , we are on chapter 18 in biology , we have only completed 29 chapters out of 56!! i am trying to do it on my own but it seems impossible!HELP!i am getting a panic attack!

wow! is your AP bio teacher new or something? i'm taking AP bio next year... is it really hard??

she is a great teacher ,and teaches well too , its just we are soo behind , and its hard getting all the stuff on my own. well she says we will get done , but all of us highly doubt it , we have like more than 7 labs left...
i am sooo scared

oh , i forgot to answer ur question , its soo not hard - its just if you have to do it all by urself, umm its a lil over whelming then - on the other hand the material is just cramming and a few concepts , and thats about it!

My chem class isn't even gonna get close to covering all the material.

My teacher is really a nice guy, but he can't really teach. We spent about 7 months on the first 8 or 9 chapters and about 5 days on these 5. Plus, there's more to learn. For AP Chem, my school averages a 2...no joke, a lot of people get 1's. I'm praying for a 4...no make that a 3.

I guess if I really wanted a 4, I'd be studying right now instead of posting, huh?

yeah i am scared tooo!! dont worry i am sure both of us will end up with great grades ....just lets keep it going...oh and is chem ap really hard???......and yeah like how many chapters do u have ???? i should sooo goo and studyy!!lol!!

idk, there are like 26 chapters in the book and we're on ch 15 and we skipped a few, but my teacher didn't plan on doing all of them. basically, we had a pretty scattered course. the kaplan book has 14 chapters of review stuff, idk how they're broken up because i obviously haven't really looked at it.

it's not really hard i guess, depends on your teacher and whether or not you like chem. i hear the exam is pretty tough though. i'll be taking bio next year. fun! lol.

good luck on your studying!

sk8ngli,

Don't worry you're not alone. My AP Psychology teacher is similar to urs. I'm not saying he can't teach, but I sort of learned less in the ap class than the regular. and he say his average students score a 3. and he even say "oh guys don't worry about it, go over the notes and u'll get an easy 3." ....I'm like I want at least a 4 mister. a 4...

we were handed practice exams from past years today. his exact quote as we went through the questions, "well you can't answer that one, so i don't expect you to get it right....we didn't cover that one, don't worry about that one. Oh! you can do the first part of this one, but you'll get the second part wrong..."

wow, thanks so much mr. a. i feel ready now!

Today a girl ask him about the review book which he said "we will use it throughout the year" yeah right, not even one page. And now he told her "oh well, read it for 2 hours a day. and you'll pass the test."..."but you never told us to read the review book."...."yea well now I'm asking you to read it for 2 hours a day. other teachers will have their student read it 5hours, im asking for 2."

Im taking these tests: AP Gov, AP US History, AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Eng Lang, AP Eng Lit. Suggestions on where I can find good free reviews online?

I think sparknotes and cliffnotes.com does it pretty well..

marc,
you're taking ALL those tests this year? or you're planning on taking them in the next few?
idk about yours, but my school usually does Eng Lang junior year and Eng Lit senior year. plus, AP Bio and AP Chem in one year? ...with US History? that's bound to drive a person crazy.

sk8ngli i would have to agree with you thats alot in one year..espically ap bio and ap chem..

Ya all those this year. My sciences are AP Bio, AP Chem, Medical Microbiology, and Pathophysiology. US History, Im retaking, got a 3, mistakenly wrote that the Balkans were communists, were they? AP Gov, easy, AP Lit, i might get a 2, it's alright.
