ok i posted this question on the AP prep section but ive gotten no responses so here goes...
how difficult/easy is the AP French exam compared to the SAT II French?
i kno hte actual test is very different from the SAT II but assuming i got a 640 do u think i have a decent shot at a 4 or 5 on the exam?
also....wat percent of the questions do u have to get right to get a 4 or 5?

I took both the French AP and the SATIIs and the AP French exam is BY FAR much harder. I am bilingual so I did well on both, but I remember reading the excerpts on the AP exam and thinking that if it were spanish i would be soooo screwed (i'm taking the AP spanish test this year). I am sure that I made many grammatical mistakes on the AP test, but I still got a 5 so I think there is definitely room for mistakes to get a 4 or 5. I know that for calculus, a 4 is basically a 50% (I don't know about french tho)... so if you study and are mentally prepared you definitely have a shot at a 4 or 5.

thnx....anyone else?

the AP was more thorough -- you can't get away with as much

Come on.. SATII Languages..
You can just take Level 1(i.e. French 1, Spanish 1, Japanese 1, German 1, etc) and still get over 700...
