I'm self studying Microeconomics because my school doesn't offer it. So for a textbook, people have told me to use Makiw's Principle of Economics. But I noticed that this covers both Macro and Micro. Does this cover enough Micro? Or should I consider Makiw's other book Principles of Microeconomics??

They are the same thing. Principles of Economics by Mankiw contains the chapters from Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics. I used Principles of Economics for just Micro and it taught me everything I needed to know for the AP exam.

Oh okay. Thank you very much! :)

No problem. It is a great book with thorough chapters that really explain things well. It would also be helpful if you had a review book to go with it. Once it gets closer to exam time, it’ll save you a lot of trouble rereading through the chapters. 5 Steps to a 5 is a great review book for Econ.
