Hello, so I have 6 APs this year that I have to prep for. AP Calc, English Language, Biology, Physics 1, US History, and Euro History. I’ve been doing really well in all classes but haven’t done any actual AP practice tests yet. I have review books for US History, Biology, English, Calc, and Euro but no Physics 1. I’m aiming for 4s and 5s on the APs. Do you think it’s doable if I read the review books from now till May? Also, whats the best Physics 1 review book or prep material because I know it’s more conceptual and I really want to get a feeling for the questions and topics since my teacher has been teaching us and testing us based on the old Physics B format -_- . Thanks.
Yes it is do-able so stop panicking. You don’t have to report scores to colleges anyway so there is no need to panic. prepare as if the AP test were simply a final exam in each of your classes-even tho it is a little earlier than usual final exams for those in the northeast and west.
Since you have a lot of APs and limited prep time for each, I would go straight to the Princeton Review books and read through everything at least once - that should be sufficient to get 4s and 5s.
@goldenbear2020 Thanks for the insight. Any tips on good review books or materials for AP Physics 1?
@lostaccount Oh ok. Thanks for the advice.
It’s not imperative that you read these review books. As long as you understand the material, you should do very well. My suggestion is to just take a whole lot of practice tests. AP Physics 1 is the only one i would consider buying a book for, but even that it’s not really necessary.
@Coldsummer123 How or where would I find a whole lot of practice tests for the new formats of AP US and Euro? Same for Bio. Maybe you could PM me any pdfs or sources youve used? Thanks.
