AP Performance Numbers

Trevor Packer, CollegeBoard’s head of AP, has been sporadically posting performance numbers of certain AP exams on his Twitter account here: https://twitter.com/#!/AP_Trevor

Exams he has already posted: APUSH, Psych, Econ (both), Spanish Lit, AP Comp Sci, APES and a few others.

(Credit to StudiousMaximus for finding the Twitter account, original thread on HSL here: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/1353320-those-you-awaiting-ap-scores.html)

Lol at username.

But yeah! Awaiting tweets about the calculus exams.

For those that don’t want to scroll through all of his tweets, this site is also compiling the distributions (and other relevant tweets) into a nice table. [2012 AP Exam Score Distribution](<a href=“2012 AP Exam Score Distributions”>2012 AP Exam Score Distributions)

Thanks for that, 314159265! Much appreciated.

yay! thanks for the info :)

If our colleges receive our scores no later than July 1st…does that mean we get the AP credit already?

^^

yeah and if you sent scores to colleges you might be able to call your school’s registar and find out what you have credit for.

Apparently AP Calculus AB got graded already…does that mean they’re on their way to the college?

^ I think colleges get them July 1st.

All of the scores get sent at once, not separately. If your college won’t let you see your scores as soon as they get them (or you aren’t going to college next year), your teachers will have access to their students’ scores on the 5th or 6th, so you can always mail them and hope they’re feeling nice enough to take the time to email you your score.

Very well then.
I play this darn waiting game now…

Will the college I sent my scores to let me know what I got?
Before July 1st right?

The colleges were sent the scores today both electronically and via snail mail since some schools only use the paper ones.
