Can someone with good physics knowledge briefly explain the answers to 4, 12, 16, 19, 20, 21, 23, and 25 from the AP Physics 1 College Board MC Practice pdf? I’d really appreciate any help.
@thetex Thanks alot, that was helpful! I really want to maximize my MC score because my FRQ points will probably be around only half of the available total.
Hey guys, if anyone finds any useful practice questions (mc or frq) please post the link here. Let’s compile all we can. AP Physics 1 is obviously only a year old, so most of the stuff may have to come from AP Physics B
@neoking – my son finds some of the MC questions in 5 Steps to 5 a bit ambiguous – not sure easier or harder than practice at school but a bit different for sure.
My school told me to be there at the testing site by 11:30AM. But looking at collegeboard’s website it says that it won’t start till 12 noon. Should I be there by 11:30AM or can I show by 12? Are schools even allowed to start a half hour early? It’s not like they can refuse me right since 12 is when it should officially start?
I have an AP Literature exam Wednesday and I was told to be there by 8AM, exactly like what is says on collegeboard. I don’t get why I have to go a half hour for the physics exam then?

They tell you to be there at 11:30 because the exam starts exactly at 12, so they want you to be on time. If your school is like mine, people who are late are not allowed to take the exam, so they’re trying to ensure that you get there on time. They won’t start at 11:30, but it’s a good idea to be there by then or plan on it in case something happens and you’re going to be a few minutes late.
