i think the curve should be closer to 65 for a 5 and a 40 for a 3
so does the photogate measure time only? so you would have to measure distance between the two on your own>
@CeLcel 16 is D not A
Electrostatics are part of physics 1 right? I was looking through the course description and it was all under physics 2…
Edit: ahhh never mind I found it it’s just a lot less than i thought it would be
yes it is a section in 1
@Mathman97 - Yep, that’s primarily what it’s used for (and it’s usually attached to some sort of rod or pole, so it’s “hovering” above an air track). Did you guys not use it in class? My teacher literally made us do photogate labs every month.
I’d guess at 62-65, but that’s only a guess (which is all any of these are). I’m sure if they had to go down to 50% to get 5’s to their historical Physics B level of ~15%, they would just see the percentage of 5’s go into the single digits as it did with bio and chem after the redesigns.
@glasshours we have never used them, awful teacher lol
Can someone post a link for the 50 multiple choice practice questions?
@skieurope I know i’ve probably asked you this before and you’ve probably answered it but I just want to be clear. Colleges don’t use ap scores as part of admissions EVEN IF YOU GOT MULTIPLE 1’S? because I’m expecting four 5’s and three 1’s. bad preparation on my part
@Gatortristan Correct, although don’t jump the gun on anticipating 3 1’s yet.
Okay thanks for clearing that up once and for all. I’m just going to review for a little more and then it’s out of my hands. Everyone do their best and good luck!!!..we will literally need it
at least we have all of tomorrow morning to study since its in the afternoon
anyone have apush coming next?
^^ yup friday morning
I’m a senior (my school only offers Physics 1 [and just did so this year, woe to me]), so I’m merely using this to have some credits to knock off part of Wharton/Penn’s science requirement.
Good luck to all of you juniors taking this test (and all the other junior tests).
Do you think we will need to know linearization?
@Tiberium - Congrats on Wharton!
Just finished the course description. This test should be fun.
How do you do the problem of the transverse wave on the string and the frequency is doubled (question 28) what is the new speed
Im a sophomore :o
