Hi. I am a freshman and am taking Algebra 2. Next year I will be taking Biology (H) and Pre-Calc (H). Some of my classmates are planning on taking AP Physics 1 next year as a sophomore, so I am considering it. Though I do not have any previous physics knowledge other than the generic Physical Science class that is required for all freshmen at my school, should I take the course?
Thank you.
AP Physics 1 is designed as a first physics course and only requires algebra 2 knowledge. As an honors PreCalc student, you should have a strong enough math background for it.
